Hi Everyne, It's Jacqui, Just letting the teachers know, how grateful I am for everything they ever did for me, IN year 7, I got 8 comendations at the end of the year, a comendation is a reward the teachers giv students for doing EXCEPTIONALLY well in that specific subject, as I got 8, I know who I couldn't have done it without, all the teachers at this school, thank you all so much.

Hello, my name is Ellie Paton and I attended Bishopton Primary 2001-2005. Me and my older brother, Tom, moved to Australia in 2005, as you probably know.
I am in Year 7 now & am attending my last year at Mitcham Primary. Tom is in Year 10 at Unley, where I will be attending next year.
Mitcham is great, but Bishopton is a school I will never forget & even though I was only in Year 3 when I left, I still remember it.

I was hoping the website would mirror the quality of the school, but it falls short. Term dates are out of date - not a help to parents in any way. My maths teacher (I have different classes for each subject) is really cool, he loves the rugby and was soooooooooo upset when Wales won the six nations (I did a bit of friendly teasing) then he was even more upset when the Osprays beat the Tigers in the Anglo v Welsh Union (I did a bit more friendly teasing then as well). Very informative website! I was a pupil between 1990-1995 at Bishopston then went on to Bishopston Comp and have recently graduated from Swansea University. Certainly have some very good memories of Bish - especially Abercraigan, Isle of Wight and not to forget the Xmas pantos! Good to see some of the teachers are still there and also sad to know that Mr Bowen has now retired.

I really enjoyed looking at pendine stuff !

I think this website is well wicked as it has a lot of information about the school and it's surroundings it also shows photos of the kids and what they get up to in school giving other people an understanding of what the school is like, I think they should add more photos and I think it would be better if they had some games, but other than that it's well cool, Bishopston is the best man!

My son Ioan (Verhoeven) - age 5 - will be joining the school in September. The website has given me a good feeling already, look forward to meeting everyone!

I had a look through your site and i thuoght it was really good, and now I think Mr. Widlake is really cool because he put me on the website 4 times.
I enyoyed looking at the news letter because it has lots of memorys of Pendine and all the other places we went to in the last few months.

This is a great way for busy parents to see what's going on at school. Thanks for making it imformative and interesting. One suggestion though... How about a page on school dinners? You could encourage healthy eating by showing the range of food on offer and also include the cost per term / half term fees for each term. I never know what this amount will be! (accounting for inset's etc). Thanks.

Hiya people who are reading this at the moment.I LOVE BISHOPSTON PRIMARY!It is the best school ever!!!My favourite subject is Art.I am quite good at it, also P.E, they are great subjects to join in with.(P.E makes you fit,and Art gives you creative skills. I like going to school, because I see all my friends, I go to clubs that they don't have in other schools. I go to violin, and then orchestra at lunch time. I go to bridge. We have sports day every year! This year I'm sure YELLOW will win sports day!! Thank - you for reading this

hey everyone, i just wanted 2 say i really enjoyed the trip to Pendine, and the pupils and staff made my week really enjoyable. Thankyou to Mr Widlake for letting me go and to all the children espeacially group 2 for putting up with me. I've just viewed the pictures of Yr 5's Pendine Trip - even though they haven't even arrived home yet! It looks like the teachers were having as much fun as the pupils! The website is a great way to see what they have been up to this week. Its my first visit to the website but I'll certainly be logging on again.

I am Lucy Boland's grandmother, living in Cyprus and the website was a great way for me to see what she experienced in her week at Pendine this week with year 5.

This website rocks because it doesn't only show school children what kind of work we do, it shows the rest of the community what we do. This gives it gives a good reputation.

i think this web site is good. This is because if people wanted to send their child to this school they could look on the web site to look at it and find out what the children do for clubs .

I thoroughly enjoyed browsing through our web-site. Everything looks bright and happy. I particularily enjoyed looking at the photographs....but not the one of me! The children's comments are great to read and I look forward to visiting it again.

I think the opening motto could give greater impact and the layout is a little repetitive. I would also like to see more contributions from the children. That said the overall impression is excellent. Well done!!

I think it would be made better if there were games on it though.

I very much enjoyed visiting the school's new web site today. Well done to everyone involved in developing it. I would find it very useful to have a Governing Body button, with dates of meetings, minutes, names of governors and the Annual Report. Also a HSA button with dates of planned events and committee meetings. I liked the design of the website very much. The only thing I found distracting is the moving banner on the right hand side, but perhaps you have to have that? I look forward to seeing the site completed. Once again, congratulations!
